“Why become a Brewshed® Partner? Starting with young seedling trees and ending with the pints in our hands, so much of the cider-making process relies on clean water. We use a variety of apples grown in Cascadia to craft our ciders. From our cultivated cider varieties and wild-picked Yamhill County apples to the dessert apples we get from the Yakima and Hood River Valleys, our ciders wouldn’t be what they are without the clean water that helps our trees grow. For us, it’s not just about the product. It’s about the people, the places, and the process. Enjoying a pint of cider in good company is a satisfying end to the full experience, which starts with days out in the orchard, or lost in the woods in search of wild apple trees. We are committed to the conservation of Oregon’s watersheds so that future generations may discover the same wonder in their own right.”

About: So why cider? As passionate as we are about beer and brewing, there is something magical about cider. Picking bittersweet apples in our partner orchard down on a clear autumn day, or traipsing through the wet woods of our family land in Yamhill to seek out wild seedling apples, it is these experiences that ground us to the land. Cider challenges us, it inspires us, and there’s nothing quite like the dry tannic flavor of a well-made cider.
